Virginia is home to more data centers than any place on Earth. Now, there are plans in the works to bring even more data centers to the Northern Shenandoah Valley.
Every community deserves the opportunity to come together, discuss the available information, and consider how they'd like to approach these projects. We will have a panel of speakers composed of folks who have been working on this issue in the northern valley and are subject matter experts on the potential impacts of data centers.
Our goal is to share information and offer space to community members to engage with, be heard by, and ask questions of their leaders and neighbors. While some of the participants in this event may be partisan, we will stay focused on the issue of data centers and creating opportunities for neighbors to communicate and work together across partisan divides on other matters.
We will have light refreshments, information to take home, calls to action for those who are motivated to stay involved, and opportunities for you to share your thoughts both during and after the event.
