Call to Caucus to Reorganize the Winchester - Frederick County Democratic Committee
Membership Selection:
The Winchester Frederick County Democratic Committee will hold a virtual, assembled caucus on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm to elect the new members of WFCDC pursuant to the Democratic Party of Virginia Party Plan.

WFCDC will elect officers to serve the 2022 – 2024 biennial. All members who have previously joined for the 2022 membership (October, 2021 through January 8th) shall be deemed eligible to vote during the caucus. Additionally, by going to www.wfcdcva.org and selecting the “BECOME A MEMBER" button and joining, you will be eligible to vote.
Registration will begin at 2:00 pm. Any interested Democrat may join during registration, thus becoming eligible to vote during the Caucus. Doors shall be closed promptly at 3:00 pm. Any member in line at 3:00 pm shall be allowed to complete registration and vote.
Candidate Filing:
WFCDC will convene for the purpose of electing officers. Positions for leadership roles include Chair, 1st Vice Chair, 2nd Vice Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary.
Anyone interested in becoming an officer of the WFCDC may attend the Caucus.
Each person shall notify the Chair of their intention to seek office by email at
chair@wfcdcva.org, or by mailing such to WFCDC, PO Box 2215, Winchester VA 22604. All mailed notifications must be received at the above PO Box by 3:00 PM on January 8, 2022 to be considered eligible.
Nominations may be placed from the floor, allowing that the person nominated agrees to serve.
